June 17, 2023 Meet at Antique Powerland

The June Meet for 2nd Division will be at a different location, the Willamette Valley Model Railroad Museum located at Antique Powerland in Brooks, Oregon.

Time: 1:30pm-4pm
2nd Division will be hosted by the WVMRM in their facility at Antique Powerland, which features an HO scale layout depicting the Siskiyou Line in Southern Oregon. They will have a presentation on the layout and museum.
Max Mogliaro, MMR will also be presenting a clinic on his scratchbuilt N scale Stephenson's Rocket locomotive. The work that Max does is jeweler or watchmaker level precision and is amazing to see.
There are several nearby locations to eat prior to the meet, including a full slate of fast food restaurants, Elmers, and a Red Robin in Woodburn at the I-5 exit, the Route 99 restaurant in Brooks at the intersection of Hwy 99E and Brooklake Rd NE, and across the street from Antique Powerland there is a Subway, Taco Bell, and Cinnabon in the Pilot Travel Center (truck stop), a Carls Jr. across the parking lot, and at least two food carts - Bright Indian Food and La Korita Mexican.
